Links to Leadership is a youth development initiative led by Brainstorm Miami, Urban Golf Weekend, and 100 Black Men of South Florida in partnership with Miami Central High School and Booker T. Washington High School. The program introduces high-performing student athletes and academic scholars to the game of golf while equipping them with the knowledge, exposure, and mindset needed to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving sports, academic, and economic landscape.

Through a three-part cohort experience from April through September 2026, participants engage in golf instruction alongside workshops centered on financial literacy, wealth building, NIL education, leadership development, and personal branding. By combining mentorship from accomplished professionals with practical life-skills training, Links to Leadership uses golf as a vehicle to expand opportunity, encourage long-term vision, and help youth build the confidence, discipline, and relationships needed for future success.
